In our house we like to dream up businesses to solve problems daily. Occasionally an idea hits us and we just run with it. Many of my friends couldn't find stylish, quality and "cheerfully" priced jewelry for their kids. Being a former accessories buyer, and the parent to a creative child, I knew this was a business we could create. Designs doodled at playdates and after ballet and soccer practice had everyone involved - as did photo and marketing sessions.

And WHERE DOES THE NAME "ROSIE BOLD" come from you ask? Great question! The name had to be fun and also inspire girls to be strong. I was driving my kids in the car after a fun birthday party in the park where everyone was running around. My 6 year old, asked me "Mommy, are my cheeks red?" and I wanted to remind her that it is good to play and get exercise and have fun. So my response "No, your cheeks are just rosy." As I'm driving I have this that's it! moment. Rosie Bold!!!! It is fun, strong, empowering and playful. Additionally, the name reminds me of Rosie the Riveter and my "Rosie Bold Girls" remind me of RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsburg.)
